Obituary

Weyandt, Richard L., 79, Sidman, died Jan. 24, 2015 at his home. Born July 27, 1935 to the late Fosten and Sylvia (Burtnett) Weyandt. Preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by loving wife, Beverly A. Weyandt, Sidman; son, Thomas B. Weyandt, South Fork; grandson, Joshua W. Weyandt, South Fork; sister in law, June Weyandt, Sidman; brother in law, Nile Wingard, Sidman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was very proud to be a veteran who had served in the Army, 1st Calvary during the Korean War. He was a member of the Beaverdale American Legion and a proud lifetime member of the Brookside Sportsman’s Club. Richard was a self-employed carpenter and loved the outdoors. A committal service will be held at 2 pm, Jan. 30, at Dunlo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
