Robert (Bobby, Bo) Williams, 59 of Johnstown passed away November 16 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Robert was born in Johnstown, PA on March 14, 1961. Preceded in death by mother Doris (Simmons) Williams, Father in law, Robert (Dink) Yingling and sister Kimberly Dawn Williams. Son of Robert (Carol) Williams and the late Doris (Simmons) Williams. Bobby is survived by the love of his life of over 43 years, Christine (Yingling) Williams. Children Erin (Justin) Kelley, Robert Williams Jr, and Emmalee (Eric) Decker. Grandchildren Braydon, Linken, Paige, Sophi, Callen, Tanner and Sofia. Sisters Sheree Bittner and Marilyn Silver. Son in law of Louise Yingling. Brother in law(s) Robert (Diane),Joseph (Tina) and John (AnnaMae) Yingling. Numerous nieces and nephews and loyal companion Cutter.
Bobby was a graduate of Central Cambria High School where he was an outstanding athlete. He continued his love of sports by coaching baseball, wrestling and midget football. He especially enjoyed his work with PJW. He was employed by Spectra (Enbridge) Energy as a mechanic. Bo enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bo was also a proud founding member of the Soggy Bottom Hunting Camp in Sheffield, PA that was shared with his lifelong best friends: Willie (Luanne) Degretto, Tim (Marianne) Ford, Mark (Renee) Seliga and Cousin Todd (Beth) Williams.
Bobby loved his wife like no other, his children and loved spoiling his grandchildren. He loved his Harley, his truck, boogieing to rock n’ roll and drinking beer!
Per Bobby’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family is planning a celebration of life gathering at their home on a date to be determined for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for a memorial bench and plaque to be placed on the riverbank at the Soggy Bottom Hunting Camp so that Bo’s memory can live on!
