Loya, Ronald Sr., 78, Mineral Point, passed away June 26, 2016 at Cambria Care Center.  Born June 9, 1938 in Conemaugh to the late George and Kathryn (Sikurenic) Loya.  Survived by wife of 57 years, Alice (Blasic) Loya.  Also survived by son, Ronald Jr. “Red”; daughter, Brenda (Brian Rozum); grandsons, Nick, P.J., and Brett; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Carol (Larry Heming); and brother, Larry (Sandy Nasser).  Ron was a Vietnam era veteran, serving in the National Guard and serving in the U.S. Army in Germany.  He was a member of Parkhill American Legion, Conemaugh Eagles, and the A.C. Club in Woodvale.  He was also a lifetime member of A.B.A.T.E., Cambria County.  He was employed at General Motors, Bethlehem Steel, and drove school bus for Central Cambria School District.   Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Chapel, Celebration of Life Director, Wayne Ayer, officiating.  Military rites by VFW Menoher Post 155 Ritual Team.  Arrangements in care of the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
