Rudnik, Walter A. Jr., 73, Johnstown, passed away April 5, 2022, at Cambridge Ebensburg Senior Living. Born February 21, 1949, to the late Walter and Mary (Stewart) Rudnik Sr. Preceded in death by daughter, Amber (Rudnik) Roles. Survived by children, Lori MacLaren; Michelle Westerman (Will); Todd MacLaren; Tara Mazey (Bill); sisters, Myrna Rudnik; Linda Hill (Jim); Helen Morris (Jim); grandchildren, Brittany, Amanda, Brad, Kayla, Brady, Shenley, Shane, Brian Jr., Vanessa, Bryant, Jaden, Peyton, and Blaise; great grandchildren, Gavin, Max, Michael, and Addison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was a military police officer in the U.S. Army and was employed by Sani-Dairy in Johnstown for 25 years. He was a devoted member of Tire Hill Church of the Brethren and loved volunteering at the church and with numerous other non-profit organizations. Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching the Steelers, and walking the track. He was a good-hearted handyman who was always helping others. A special thank you to Penn Hospice, the VA nurses, and Pastor Brian Simmons. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday April 9th at Tire Hill Church of the Brethren.
