Obituary

Rohm, Geraldine L. (Turk), 69, Elton, died December 14, 2018 at her residence. Born in New York, NY on May 4, 1949 to the late Henry Lee and Mary Lou (Ribarich) Brookshire. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her first husband Bernard P. Turk; her children, Pam Conrad (Jeffrey), Mineral Point; Brian Turk (Desa), Elton; Jennifer Freidhoff (Donald), Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Kelsie, Erin, Jessica, Ashlee, Grant, Devin, and Dakota; her great-grandaughter Izabella “Izzy”; and her loyal companion, her dog Buster. Geraldine was retired from the Local #910 where she worked as a flagger. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed singing, going to the beach, spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, shopping, cooking, and just having fun. A visitation will be held from 2 PM until time of the Memorial service at 3 PM on Thursday December 20, 2018 at Hindman Funeral Home, 1521 Frankstown Road Johnstown, PA 15902, Pastor Nancy Hoover, Officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Geraldine to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Extension, Johnstown, PA 15904.
