Obituary

Anna Dorothy (Berzinsky) Krutch passed away on November 8, 2020 in Johnstown, PA. Known as Annie or Ann to her friends and family, she was born to Victor and Helen (Steckowski) Berzinsky on December 28, 1935 in Parkhill, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Krutch Jr on June 7, 2000. Also preceded in death by her parents, and all of her siblings, brothers Stanley (Dulcie), John (Dorothy), Zigmond (Margaret), Edward, Chester (Roseann) Brezensky, Frank (Betty)  Brezensky, and Walter Berzinsky; sisters Helen (Harry) Panchisin, Josephine (Alex) Makuhan, and Frances Berzinsky. Survived by her daughter, Michele, wife of Greg Paonessa, Johnstown, her grandchildren whom she treasured, Emily wife of Grant Cruse, Abigail, Megan, and Michael Paonessa. Survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Elizabeth Berzinsky and her children, Cindy and Bill Yetsko and family, Gregory and Mary Berzinsky and family, Felicia and David Schlick, and Tamara and Ernest Tartaglia and family. Also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Ann was a 1954 graduate of East Conemaugh High School. She was employed in insurance by Koontz-Paxson-Renfrew and BGS&G companies. She was a fantastic mother, a great cook, and a doting grandmother. She resided with her daughter and her family for 20 years of love, laughter, and memory making. She enjoyed spending time with her family, entering and winning online contests and researching genealogy. She loved and believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior, so we can be assured that she is in a much better place. At Anna’s request and in light of COVID-19, there will be no visitation and services will be private.
