Obituary

Buckingham, Jacqueline J. “Jackie”, 70, Homer City, passed away peacefully at her home January 6, 2025. Born December 15, 1954, to William T. and Mary J. (Jackens) Buckingham. She is preceded in death her wife, Aileen Beck; father, William T. Buckingham; sister, Patricia A. Barosky.

She was survived by her mother, Mary Jane Jackens Crnarich; sister, MaryLou (Bill) Ardini, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie very proudly earned her degree as a Registered Nurse and during her career worked with intellectually challenged individuals. Jackie loved her family and friends, but absolutely adored her Fur babies. Jackie spent her life happily surrounded by dogs, cats, birds and even an occasional Opossum. Jackie had a community of online friends who the family would like to thank for making the last few years of her life very enjoyable as she spoke of you all often. At Jackie’s request there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to any animal shelter as that would bring her the most joy.
